When you open the umbrella, part of the bone slides and unfolds to protect your partner or backpack from rain.
It is a new technology that only extends part of the back bone and is designed to weigh the same as a regular umbrella.
*Please note that if you fold the umbrella after use and stand while the umbrella is wet, water droplets may enter the inside of the umbrella from the overlapping portion of the fabric due to the structure, thus wetting the inside.
